Der Impfstoff des menschlichen Tollwuts von Biososhoots ist intramuskulär in den Deltoid des Oberarms injiziert. Für Kinder wird empfohlen, den Impfstoff am anterolateralen Oberschenkel in den Muskel zu injizieren. Immunisierung nach der Exposition: Im Allgemeinen werden Patienten am Tag 0, 3, 7, 14 und 28 1 Dosis-Impfstoff injiziert, insgesamt 5 Dosen während des vollständigen Immunisierungsverfahrens, die gleiche Dosis für Erwachsene und Kinder.
Alle Fälle einer Verdacht auf Tollwutexposition sollten sofort behandelt werden, um das Beginn klinischer Symptome und des Todes zu verhindern. Nach der Expositionsprophylaxe (PEP) besteht aus einer Wundbehandlung, der Verabreichung von Tollwutimpfstoffen auf der Grundlage der WHO-Empfehlungen und der Angabe der Verabreichung von Tollwut-Immunglobulin.
